Founded in the year 1934 by the late Mr. D.V. Seshiah Gupta, Asoka-c is a 90-year-old company based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The company’s journey began with a commitment to crafting cosmetics that celebrate natural elegance, heritage, and quality. We are the pioneers in manufacturing the “100% natural sandalwood talcum powder.” We also manufactured hair oils, brilliantines, creams, and others. This rich legacy was later carried on by our Managing Director Mr. Surenranath Guptha DV, the son of our founder. For over 6 decades, his unwavering dedication and strategic vision have led us through challenges and milestones. His immense passion for perfume blending inspired him to create our fragrances in-house, which instill nostalgia in every household. He has been the pillar and driving force behind the company to maintain its authenticity. As we continue to evolve and adapt in a rapidly changing world, his visionary leadership remains instrumental in shaping the company’s continued success.
